Connecting to an MCN
How It Works: Step by Step Guides
1. Connect Your YouTube MCN or Join Revelator's MCN
Option 1: Connect your YouTube MCN via OAuth.
Option 2: Apply to join Revelator’s MCN directly.
2. View Imported Channels and Their Content
Once imported, you can view all managed YouTube channels in the Channels tab.
Each tile shows the channel handle and video count.
A blue banner indicates how many channels have been imported.
Use “Review Channels” to manage access or assign owners.
3. Filter and Search Channels
Use the channel filters to:
Search by monetization status, subscriber count, joined date, or video count
Identify channels that are safe for kids, public/private, or currently unlinked
4. View Channel Details
Click into any channel to explore:
Total subscriber count and views
Monetization status and join date
Visibility and child safety settings
About info and link to YouTube channel
5. Explore Channel Videos
From a channel's profile, navigate to Videos tab to:
View all uploaded content
Track performance: views, likes, duration
Open videos on YouTube or assign ownership
Expected Outcomes
Channels and videos imported correctly and appear in Catalog.
Filtering enables data-driven review of channel performance.
Ownership and permissions can be set for secure collaboration.
Accurate, up-to-date stats for monetization, views, and engagement.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I see which channels are not monetized? Yes. Use the Status filter to show only non-monetized channels.
Can I assign channels to specific users or clients? Yes. Use the “Assign Channel Owner” option from the three-dot menu.
What happens if a channel becomes unlinked? It will be flagged and visible using the Unlinked filter.
Are video stats real-time? Stats sync regularly with YouTube CMS, though short delays may occur.
