Connecting to an MCN

How It Works: Step by Step Guides

1. Connect Your YouTube MCN or Join Revelator's MCN

  • Option 1: Connect your YouTube MCN via OAuth.

  • Option 2: Apply to join Revelator’s MCN directly.

2. View Imported Channels and Their Content

Once imported, you can view all managed YouTube channels in the Channels tab.

  • Each tile shows the channel handle and video count.

  • A blue banner indicates how many channels have been imported.

  • Use “Review Channels” to manage access or assign owners.

3. Filter and Search Channels

Use the channel filters to:

  • Search by monetization status, subscriber count, joined date, or video count

  • Identify channels that are safe for kids, public/private, or currently unlinked

4. View Channel Details

Click into any channel to explore:

  • Total subscriber count and views

  • Monetization status and join date

  • Visibility and child safety settings

  • About info and link to YouTube channel

5. Explore Channel Videos

From a channel's profile, navigate to Videos tab to:

  • View all uploaded content

  • Track performance: views, likes, duration

  • Open videos on YouTube or assign ownership

Expected Outcomes

  • Channels and videos imported correctly and appear in Catalog.

  • Filtering enables data-driven review of channel performance.

  • Ownership and permissions can be set for secure collaboration.

  • Accurate, up-to-date stats for monetization, views, and engagement.
