Workspace Settings
The Workspace Settings section is the core area where administrators and users can configure and customize the basic attributes of their workspace on the Revelator platform. These settings include the workspace icon, name, default currency, default language settings, and supported languages. Proper configuration ensures consistent branding and standardized reporting throughout the platform.
Steps to Access and Configure Workspace Settings
Navigate to Account > Workspace in the sidebar.
The Workspace Settings page displays the primary configuration for your workspace, including:
Workspace icon and name.
Unique workspace ID (read-only).
Default currency and language settings.
Supported languages within the platform.

Workspace Icon
The Workspace Icon is a square image with a 1:1 ratio that visually represents your brand throughout the Revelator platform.
It appears prominently in the main sidebar and on the login/signup page.
Recommended formats: SVG, ICO, PNG.
Recommended size: 1 MB or smaller.
To update the icon:
Click the current icon or placeholder.
Upload a new image from your device.
Save changes.
Workspace Name
The Workspace Name is the official name of your organization within the platform.
This name is displayed across the platform to identify your workspace.
To update the name:
Click the name field.
Type the new workspace name.
Save changes.
Workspace ID
The Workspace ID is a unique identifier automatically generated for your workspace.
It is read-only and cannot be edited.
Useful for customer support and technical assistance.
Default Settings
The Default Settings section defines important configurations related to currency, language, and localization. These settings help standardize financial reporting and user experience across the platform.
Default Currency
The Default Currency is used for analytics and statements.
It is read-only and cannot be changed once configured.
Example: USD (United States Dollar).
If changes are needed, contact support.
Default Release Language
Sets the primary language for release information metadata.
This setting ensures consistent presentation of metadata across the platform.
To change the language:
Click the dropdown menu.
Select the preferred language from the list.
Save your changes.
Default Statement Language
Sets the language for financial statements and reporting.
This configuration ensures that statements are clear and understandable for stakeholders.
To update the statement language:
Click the dropdown menu.
Choose the desired language.
Save changes.
Workspace Languages
Specifies the languages your organization will support.
You can choose from a list of up to 19 languages.
Select the languages that best match your user base and geographic reach.
To update supported languages:
Click the language field.
Choose the appropriate languages from the list.
Save your selections.
Verification / Expected Outcomes
The Workspace Icon should display correctly in the sidebar and login/signup pages.
The Workspace Name should be visible throughout the platform where the workspace is referenced.
Default settings should be updated according to your chosen configurations.
Language selections should reflect the diversity and geographic focus of your organization.
Troubleshooting & FAQ
Icon Not Updating: Ensure the image format is correct (SVG, ICO, PNG) and the file size meets platform requirements.
Workspace Name Not Changing: Make sure you have the necessary permissions to edit the workspace name.
Currency Is Locked: The default currency is set during initial configuration and cannot be changed without support assistance.
Language Settings Not Saving: Check if you have the required permissions and that the selected language is supported.
