Finance
Overview
The Finance section in Revelator centralizes all your revenue data—both automatically ingested from connected DSPs and manually uploaded reports. Users can view, filter, and group revenue insights by time period, DSP source, or other criteria, making it straightforward to analyze trends and handle foreign exchange (FX) complexities.
Revelator automatically records all income from your connected services and itemizes it in your earnings reports. You can view consolidated reports as a summary of your income or drill down to see income trends by artist, tracks, channels, and more. When your earnings include foreign exchange (FX), the relevant reports are clearly noted so you can track the correct currency and distribute payments accurately to payees.
A key part of this process is managing your sales data—whether the data is automatically ingested from Digital Service Providers (DSPs) you’ve connected or uploaded manually in supported file formats.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if my currency is correct? Look for a notation or label indicating foreign exchange (FX). This ensures you’re dealing with the correct currency in your revenue reports.
Why can’t I see my latest reports? Reports may take time to process if they’re auto-ingested. If you’re missing a report, try uploading it manually using the Import function.
Can I group reports by something other than Source or Date? Currently, grouping options include Source, Date, and a dedicated iTunes payment grouping. Additional grouping options may be added in future updates.
What if my manually uploaded report file isn’t recognized? Double-check that you’re using a supported file format. If the issue persists, contact support or refer to the troubleshooting docs for more information.
