Listing NFTs for Sale
It's time to sell.
There are two ways Revelator NFT items can be listed for sale. These are:
Listing for sale on your own storefront, or
Listing for sale on third-party marketplaces (e.g. Opensea)
List On Your Storefront
When you wish to list an NFT to your storefront you can either do it at the time the NFT is minted or at any time after minting.
How to mint & list your NFT at the same time
In our complete guide to creating your first NFT, we discussed how you could choose to list your NFT for sale at the same time as minting it. When enabled your NFT is first minted and then subsequently listed for sale on your storefront.
If you choose to proceed, you must configure the following sale information:
Sale Price: set the price you wish to list your NFT item for.
Quantity for Sale: If your NFT item is a limited edition, you may set the amount of editions you are listing for sale out of the total you are minting.
How to list your NFT item after minting
To list an NFT for sale:
Navigate to your Collectibles, and open any NFT item that is not currently for sale.
From the NFT item details click List For Sale.
You will be presented with a modal window where you may configure the following options:
Sale Price: set the price you wish to list your NFT item for.
Quantity for Sale: If your NFT item is a limited edition, you may set the amount of editions you are listing for sale out of the total you are minting.
Click Confirm Listing when ready to list.
Once your listing is live, you will have the option to either unlist or update your listing.
Once your NFT is listed for sale
When you list an NFT item to your storefront, it immediately becomes available for purchase on your public storefront URL.
This URL is public and can be shared directly with fans. This page is also accessible through your public storefront page too.
Keep in mind that once you mint a music or video NFT item and share its URL or id- the NFT will remain available for streaming via that URL
Listing On 3rd-Party NFT Marketplaces
We do not yet offer direct support for listing an NFT item minted on Revelator Pro to third-party marketplaces (such as OpenSea etc). However, it is still possible by transferring your NFT from your wallet in Revelator Pro to a self-managed / non-custodial wallet you control outside of Revelator.
Once you hold the NFT item(s) in your non-custodial wallet, you can connect it to any third-party marketplace that supports listing NFTs for sale on the Polygon blockchain.
Below we'll go through transferring an NFT to another wallet and how to list it for sale on OpenSea.
As transferring an NFT item is a blockchain transaction, it may sometimes take a few moments to complete and our backend to update to reflect the current blockchain status of ownership.
Only NFT items that are not listed on your storefront can be transferred. If you'd like to transfer an NFT that is currently listed for sale, you will first need to unlist it.
Example: Listing an NFT item on OpenSea
You'll first need to have the NFT you wish to list in your non-custodial wallet - see above for instructions on transferring an NFT to another wallet. Once ready, click the wallet icon top right of the OpenSea home page and it will walk you through connecting your wallet.
Once your wallet is connected, any time you attempt an action on OpenSea that requires a blockchain transaction, you will be asked via your wallet to confirm it.
