Managing Payee Status
Your payees list offers powerful features for efficiently managing and organizing payee details. Clicking Options at the top of the page presents a list of actions that can be applied to selected payees from the list. These include:
Request pay info: Send an email prompting the payee to log in and enter all relevant payment information.
Request all pay info missing: Send an email requesting that payees log in and complete any missing information.
Block payments: Temporarily halt all pending and future payments until the payee's status is updated.
Unblock payments: Resume any halted payments for the selected payees.
Lock account: Prevent the selected account from accessing Revelator.
Unlock account: Re-enable access to Revelator for the selected account.
Export selected payees: Generate a CSV file with all available payment and account information for the selected payees.
Invite all selected: Send email invitations to all currently selected payees to join Revelator.
Invite all not yet selected: Send invitations to any payees who have not yet signed up for Revelator.
Click the Options button at the top of the payee list.
Choose actions like Request payment info, Block payouts, Unlock payouts, or Export payees.
Confirm your selection.
Managing Individual Payees
Click the three-dot menu next to a payee's name.
Select from actions like Open in New Tab, Add transaction, Request payment info, Block payouts, Unlock account, or Add to Safelist.
Overview
Managing a payee in the Revelator platform involves performing various actions to maintain accurate payment and account information. The Payee Details page provides a centralized location for managing transactions, assets, contracts, and profile information related to a specific payee.
Prerequisites
Access to the Revelator platform with the appropriate permissions.
The payee's information and ID are readily available.
Verified payment methods set up (e.g., PayPal or Tipalti).
Contract and asset data linked to the payee (if applicable).

Accessing the Payee Details Page
Navigate to the Royalties menu.
Click on Payees to view the list.
Click on a specific payee’s name to open the Payee Details page.
Payee Details Overview
The Payee Details page is divided into multiple sections:
Overview: Displays the payee’s balance, statement totals, and most recent releases.
Assets: Lists all associated assets, including title, artist name, label name, release date, and UPC.
Contracts: Shows the list of active and inactive contracts linked to the payee.
Transactions: Provides a history of payments and transactions made to the payee.
Managing Payee Information
Adding a Transaction
To add a transaction for a payee:
Navigate to the Transactions tab within the Payee Details page.
Click on the Add Transaction button.
In the Add Transaction modal, select the Transaction Type from the dropdown menu. Available types include:
Adjustment
Advance
Expense
Fraud
Payment
Fill out the required fields:
Entry Amount
Method (for Payment type)
Entry Date
External ID (if applicable)
Vendor ID
Associated Contract (if applicable)
Memo for additional notes
Click Add Transaction to save the transaction.
Managing Access Permissions
To manage a payee’s access to the Payee Portal:
Click the Manage Access button on the Payee Details page.
Enter the payee’s email address.
Adjust permissions for the following areas:
Catalog & Asset Management
Supply Chain & Distribution
Financial Reporting & Revenue Analytics
Select the appropriate level of access (Viewer, Editor, Admin).
Click Save to update access permissions.
Viewing and Managing Transactions
Go to the Transactions tab within the Payee Details page.
Use the Filter icon to filter transactions by time range (e.g., All time, Last 7 days, This week, Custom Range).
View transaction details such as date, type, amount, balance, and notes.
Click on any transaction to view more details or update information.
Exporting Transaction Data
Click the three-dot menu in the Transactions tab.
Select Export payee info to download a CSV file with transaction data.From the Payee Details page, you can perform the following actions:
Edit Profile: Update the payee’s information.
Add Transaction: Record a manual transaction or payment.
Request Payment Info: Prompt the payee to update their information.
Block Payouts: Halt any future payments to the payee.
Unlock Account: Reinstate the payee’s ability to access Revelator.
Export Payee Info: Download all relevant information as a CSV file.
Handling Contracts
To view and manage contracts associated with the payee:
Go to the Contracts tab.
View the list of linked contracts, including Contract ID, Level, Payees, and Status.
Click on the three-dot menu next to a contract to Open, Edit, or Deactivate.
Viewing and Managing Assets
Navigate to the Assets tab.
Browse through the list of assets, including release titles, artists, and associated labels.
Click on an asset to view detailed information or take specific actions.
Exporting Payee Data
Click on the three-dot menu on the Payee Details page.
Select Export payee info.
Confirm the export to download a CSV file with all available details.
Troubleshooting and Tips
If the payee’s balance shows as zero, verify the Transactions tab to check for recent payments or pending actions.
Use the Filter option to locate payees with specific payment statuses or providers.
