Collectibles Management and Creation

The Collectibles section within Revelator allows you to create, view, list, manage, and update digital assets (like NFTs) directly from the platform. You can customize metadata, license types, supply, royalties, and more. This guide consolidates the complete process of managing and creating collectibles.

Prerequisites

  • Product Version: Revelator Catalog Management 3.0 or higher

  • Permissions/Roles: Catalog Admin or Label Manager

  • Connected Web3 Wallet: Ensure your wallet is connected for blockchain-related actions

  • File Types Supported: PNG, JPG, GIF, WEBP, MP4, MP3

Managing Collectibles

Step 1: Access the Collectibles Section

  1. From the left-hand navigation menu, under WEB3, click on Collectibles.

  2. You will see the main Collectibles page with a list of available items.

Step 2: View Collectibles

  • Use List or Grid view (toggle in the top-right) to change how collectibles are displayed.

  • Use the Search bar to find specific collectibles.

  • Use the Filter button (funnel icon) to refine results (e.g., “For Sale,” “Sold,” “Not Listed”).

Step 3: View Detailed Information

  1. Click on any collectible to view details including:

    • Title & Cover Art

    • Price & Availability

    • Royalties & License Information

    • Attributes (e.g., genre, version)

    • Blockchain Network & Contract Address

Step 4: Update or Edit Collectibles

  1. In the collectible details page, click Update Listing.

  2. Modify details such as Price, Availability, Metadata, or Royalties.

  3. Click Save or Publish to confirm changes.

Creating a Collectible

Step 1: Initiate Collectible Creation

  1. Navigate to the Collectibles section from the side navigation bar.

  2. Click on the Create NFT button.

  3. You will be directed to the NFT creation interface.

Step 2: Upload Files

  • Click Browse Files to upload your media file (image, video, or audio).

  • Supported formats: PNG, JPG, GIF, WEBP, MP4, MP3.

  • The uploaded file will be displayed as a preview.

Step 3: Fill in NFT Details

  • Title: Enter a name for your collectible.

  • Artist: Select the associated artist from the dropdown.

  • Description (optional): Provide a brief description of the item.

Step 4: Add Attributes

  1. Click + Add Attribute to open the attribute dialog.

  2. Fill in the fields:

    • Trait Type: Specify the category (e.g., Genre, BPM, Version).

    • Value: Enter the corresponding value (e.g., Pop, 120 BPM, Remastered).

  3. Click Add Attribute to save the changes.

Step 5: Grant License

  1. Select a licensing option:

    • Personal Use: Non-commercial, display, and distribution rights.

    • Personal & Commercial Use: Allows commercial activities.

    • Custom License: Manually select rights for personal and/or commercial use.

  2. Confirm the license selection and proceed.

Step 6: Set Supply

  1. Choose between:

    • Single Edition: One unique NFT.

    • Limited Edition: Multiple copies of the same collectible.

  2. Specify the number of editions if choosing "Limited Edition".

Step 7: Configure Resale Royalties

  1. Toggle Receive resale royalties to enable.

  2. Enter the royalty percentage.

  3. Specify the Royalty Recipient (wallet address).

  4. Click Set Recipient to confirm.

Step 8: List for Sale

  1. Toggle List for Sale to enable public sale.

  2. Enter the Sale Price.

  3. Specify the Quantity to list.

  4. Click Create NFT to finalize.

Verification / Expected Outcomes

  • After clicking Create NFT, a confirmation message will indicate the success of the process.

  • The collectible will appear in your Collectibles list.

  • Details will be automatically synced to the blockchain (if applicable).

Troubleshooting & FAQ

  • Why can't I create a collectible? Check your role permissions and wallet connection.

  • Error during upload? Verify file format and size.

  • License not applying correctly? Double-check your selection.
